Just wondering if anybody has info on corn prices for the upcoming hunting season. Should be seeing some new crop corn being cut soon and does anyone know what the crop is looking like this year.

I joined this forum a while back but have never posted. I row crop around 3000 acres and always bag a few hundred tons of corn for the deer corn crowd.I should start shelling in the next week or so. I sold it last year for $260 ton, should be about the same this year. My email is LS7710@aol.com. I'm in Central Alabama.

We've got it 264 a ton recleaned and cleared of aflatoxin and fumonison. Also can be tax exempt if you have a farming operation.

Yeah, I bet it should be the same.

One of the most depressed corn markets in years and you're trying to get what, 2010 prices for it at $7 bucks a bushel? Whaddaya do, bag it in quart bags or something?

Nice first post.

Quart bags? Nah

I do put in camo bags, pallet and shrink wrap it though. I sell every ton I can bag and over half of it leaves the farm in 24 ton semi loads.

It's worth the highest price the buyer is willing to pay for it. Just like any other commodity.
