Does anyone have any info on this product? I think it comes out in June.

Almost definitely won't be released in June. It's possible that it is first announced then, though.

Here's little basic supposition about it... Faster chip, way more storage, Siri to help run Home automation LINK

Apple supposedly to release its own streaming TV soon as well though I'm not sure it will be in June

Thanks...I'm ready to cut the chord...and while current Apple TV's don't support the SlingTV app, or have the streaming TV contracts yet...I know they will eventually get ESPN/AMC etc...

I went ahead and bought the $69 Apple TV....I'm sure it will suffice as I already have an iPhone and an iMac in my household.

Thanks again.

If it's new enough, you can mirror it from across the house onto your TV, so you can use it to stream.

That should work fine you'll be able to watch streaming stuff that you could only do on a web browser on the Apple TV that way. Pretty cool feature.

Download the Remote App and you can control it from your phone.

Buy a Harmony Universal Remote and throw every single other remote you have away.

The Harmony works as an AppleTV remote?

Absolutely it does. As well as a replacement for my Wii-like Magic remote for my LG Plasma Smart TV, my Cox Contour Box, and my Sony Soundbar and Wireless Sub. It does it all brah.

What up Levee. The CBS Sports app on your phone streams all SEC games of the week free. You can AirPlay that to the Apple TV. NFL is a no go though, unless you get rabbit ears. WatchESPN app still needs a cable or satellite subscription to use.

ETA: you used to be able to background the cbs app and use your phone like normal while the game would still stream over AirPlay, last season this didn't work though. When you left the app, the stream cut off. CBS fricked it up.

What's up. I should be able to use sling TV or whatever Apple TV comes out with this summer for ESPN

I'm worried about cbs. The purpose of all this is to cut the chord from directv.
