How long do cryovac'd meats last in the fridge?

I went to Kroger today and they had top sirloin steaks on sale for $5.99/lb. I much prefer a good roast to a steak and it's great for lunches so I asked the butcher if I was able to get the whole top sirloin to roast.
He said he could sell the whole cut cryovac'd which worked out well. It was about 7 pounds and came out to about $42.
I took it home and did a dry heat reverse sear on it to 120 degrees then let it rest and blasted it at 550 to get a crust, etc.
It came out great.
Anyway, how long do these cryovac'd meats last in the fridge? I was reading on a few sites they can last a few months. It would be in there that long, but I might go back and buy another or two before the sale ends. Anyone have experience storing cryovac'd meat?
