Always liked the kid. Maybe Doc felt like he never got a fair shot, so he's going to give him one himself

I don't buy all the "hard work" meme stuff about him. He didn't improve a lick during his time here. No left hand, no ability to finish at the rim once he gets in the paint, poor decision making as always, awkward shot form, etc.

I tried finding a picture of him slumped after the Conley game winner over Aminu or the video of him picking up a tech after Reggie Evans elbowed Davis. Those were probably my 2 favorite moments of his. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of Austin coverage out there.
Hope he finds his confidence. I'll always root for him.
