As an impartial Saints fan I will say that it was a penalty and should have been called.
Wheter or not a ref swallows his whistle is debatable, but if it is a penalty you have to expect the call and feel like a bullet was dodged when he doesn't call it.

I don't like the call because I didn't think he pushed off. However, I applaud the red for throwing it rather than holding it. I get tired of the saying "oh you don't throw that in that situation".
If it's a rule. Then follow the rule.

Ref had players between him and the play. Hardly saw shite but was ready to throw the flag on a play that there is NEVER a flag on despite much fricking worse than that. Obvious fricking agenda there.

Two different refs threw the flag simultaneously, from both sides of the play.
Yeah. The problem is their agenda, no doubt.
