I am looking to purchase a trade show display for my company for next year. I am looking at a pop up like below. I have a good line on a 10' frame and case. I will need to get someone to print my graphics to put on there.

Looks like the frame comes with black, Velcro panels to cover the frame. How are the graphics made? Are they big panels or is it a roll that you roll out on the display?

I know it comes in a case that should be able to house everything once you take it down. If it is big panels, not sure how that would work

Anyone with any experience?

TIA

Worked for 8 years as a designer and installer for largest trade show co in America. Been working in graphics production and application for 25 years...

Panels are done lots of different ways all depends on the exact model.

The panels roll up brah. Don't get the Velcro . Get the graphic panels that attach to magnetic strips. Also, pay extra for the carpet pad at every show.

You don't need all that. Just get some neat give always and some broads in bikinis.

My dad and I had to pay the union electrician to plug in our lights one time in NYC. They literally came by and unplugged them, then had a dude come by and plug them back in.

The frame is collapsible. Fairly simple process, but you need two people.

The graphic panel will be one piece, and it folds up. The Velcro sucks. The strips fall off over time. I've been told the magnetic strips are better.

Get padded carpet and chairs. Trade shows make for long days.

Avoid Union workers.

Actually most of the frames now are made of aluminum, so magnets won't work.

Velcro is sometimes necessary

Depending on how small it folds up would more determine how graphic would be printed and what substrate.

Rollup banners work but - they look like banners

Foam core looks best but is bulky and fragile

Sintra is a happy medium folding panels can be tricky.

As for not using union labor nearly every major trade show venue requires the use of the union labor they have a contract with.
