What's the scoop on this kid? I see that his story's similar to Javahn Ferguson in that he was a Defensive linemen who now plays linebacker. Apparently LSU has noticed him since he is visiting this weekend. Anyone know anything more about him, his interest in us, or our interest in him?

He owned one of the greatest horses of all time, Risen Star. Won the Preakness and the Belmont and should have had the Triple Crown, but was boxed in at the Kentucky Derby and could not break free.

Risen Star was a descendent of Secretariat, I believe. 1986? Or 1988?

All of this is off the top of my head, by the way.

He'll wind up at Tulane are a smaller, academic D1 school.
