I have a meeting in Boston Tuesday nest week. I have not been there in years. All my business is is on Atlantic Ave. Boston, MA 02210 and at 1 Financial Ctr. Boston, MA 02111. any advice on what airport to fly into, hotels, places to eat, rental car versus cab, metro etc greatly appreciated.

Logan (BOS) is right downtown. I stay at the Boston Marriott Long Wharf when in town. There are nicer but none more convenient.

Thanks, I meed a few more Marriott points anyway. (LOL) what part of town is this? can I take a subway or something from airport or should I get a rental car. Last time I was there, there was road construction everywhere and rental car was a nightmare.

Having a rental is gonna eat you up in parking fees. My last trip there I had a rental and stayed at marriott at Copley place and it was 36 dollars a night for parking.

You do not want or need a rental in Boston. Subway gets you 90% of places you need to go, and cab/Uber/Lyft/Sidecar can get you the rest.
Blue Line(rail) or Silver Line(bus rapid transit/connects to Rail) can both take your from the airport
Where you are there are plenty of hotels, I like the Omni Parker House
Walk to North End(Boston is small) for some Italian, or for Neptune Oyster

Long Wharf is at the Aquarium Station for the T (subway), you can go directly to/from Logan in 15 minutes for $2.00 or so each way almost 24 hours a day. No car is needed. The leaves aren't changing close yet, that would be the only reason I would drive out of central city.

I have hated the Yankees so much I was naturally a Boston fan and it has spread to a love for the city too. You can have a good meal there. I wear regional sports clothing, you'll get folks talking to you that way.

I generally rent a car in Boston but cabs are ok and I always eat at Legal Seafood and a tiny place in old Italy I can longer recall by name.

You are staying close to Logan. No need for a rental- will actually make it harder for you and be more expensive.
Use this to see your train route from Logan (should be simple): LINK
I'd recommend doing the Freedom Trail if you have any time, which is free, and takes you to a number of Boston landmarks.

Second these. Legal is a high end chain but is solid and go to the Italian Village and find a place. About everything is solid there. Shouldn't be too far from where you are at.
ETA: I'm a huge Otto's Pizza fan because they have some unique stuff, but may not be up your alley.
