Replaced James Brown, Collinsworth and Sapp with Greg Gumble, boomer Esiason and Ed Reed. Simms is a leftover.
Show gets worse every year. This year is the worst after one show. They all suck.

I used to watch it growing up with all those old douches on HBO. Then they started to skip the Saints every week for some reason.

that show used to be awesome back when I was a kid but it's so boring now. I think it shows how much better our access to the NFL has gotten.

I tried watching it this week but turned it off when half the panel wouldn't use the word "redskins".
Show was great when it was on HBO years ago.

Simms is terrible, and Gubmle is a downgrade from James Brown. I wouldnt call it terrible though. Just some of the hosts. I watch for the highlights.

I feel you. I think this self-righteous schtick of not saying "Redskins" has replaced snoring as my least favorite thing on earth.

I don't know. I didn't hate it.
Phil Simms schtick is pretty old and I actually like Ed Reed on there.
at least they didn't just sit around and hype up certain teams and players like other shows do.
the Redskins segment was fricking stupid though. I liked the Mike Carey segment where he was explaining how the games will be called this year.
what exactly would you do if you where the producer of that show by the way?
How would you make it better?

Get rid of Simms first. I can't stand him. Reed may work out. I'm not crazy about Boomer or Gumble either. Get some new hosts- people we've never heard of before that can offer a new perspective. Two more former players and one regular fan.
