Burnley is the Yankees. Did you see those guys play today? That scrub club they played today got lucky that they couldn't finish because they'd have been torched.

So what you're saying is Chelsea upped the ante and English teams were forced to follow suit to keep up? Thanks to that impetus the PL has since become by far the strongest, richest, most competitive, popular league in the world.

If not for Roman you would still be scouring your TV Guide for some obscure Fox Sports channel trying to find Manchester United on TV.

Of course you would still be the best club in Manchester and wouldn't be watching the CL at home and sitting at 14th in the table now so I can see where your disdain comes from.
