Wrigley Field Bag Checks - Restictly Enforce Bag Size?

Anyone been to Wrigley recently and attempted to bring in a bag larger than 16"x16"x8"? Were you able to get it in? My pack back is 20" tall but meets the other size requirements. With the potential of rain this weekend, I'd rather not carry in ponchoes without a bag. Thanks in advance!

Get some of those big binder clips and make the bag smaller before you go in.. It worked when I did it last year..

Just go into the park wearing your poncho and having your bag stuffed in your drawers.
