is it best to wait the day before and book or just go ahead and book now? was looking at a bunch of hotels for the end of the month and most of them seemed to be very cheap for tomorrow and the next day but almost 100$ more for friday and beyond. never been to vegas and need to know whats cheapest and best for my money. thanks

If you're going to stay downtown, stay at the Downtown Grand.

If you're going to stay on the strip, don't stay at a themed hotel like Luxor, Circus Circus, Excalibur, etc.

Quad is redone, but they haven't done the rooms yet, avoid it.

what about mgm? seems to have decent reviews on the rooms and not too far from the strip.

It shouldn't be that busy at the end of the month.

Also, I'm going to give you a tip. Pay for the pool parties. You might be thinking, "why would I pay for the pool when it's free at my hotel?"

Trust me. The Encore had the sickest pool party. Tons of pools and tons of girls. The only way to sneak a flask in is in your trunks, and even then, it's only 50/50.

Book ahead, weekends are always expensive. It's all about supply and demand in there, if no one's making moves they come out with offers like 25 percent off plus food credit but if it's a busy weekend don't expect anything.

What's your budget?

that'll be Labor Day Weekend, in which a lot of hotels jack up their rates.

I've stayed at caesars and hard rock, hard rocks pools are made for partying. Caesar s is massive, and they have a few adult pools.

Partying at Wynn clubs or pool parties are worth everything Benjamin.

I'm getting a place at the planet Hollywood in September bc I don't want to pay 350 for a fricking room at the bellagio.

Why are you going to vegas

im just going to gamble, some friends i work with up here in yellowstone wanna go to the skrillex show, and with it being the first weekend of college football i figured itd be a perfect way to be able to watch the games and split the expenses of gas and hotel, since theres not much of a bar selection up here

To follow a previous poster - the Downtown Grand is hard to beat right now. $49 a night rooms, decent restaurants, nice small casino, in the downtown area. I get back home from Europe tomorrow night and fly to Vegas for business Monday and staying at the downtown grand.

My other favorite although out of the way is The M Resort

I stayed at the M resort right after they opened. Love that place. Rooms are really nice and huge considering the price you pay.

The tv in the bathroom mirror is cool as is the automatic shade they have in the bathroom so your SO can watch you bathe if they wish

I'd recommend staying on the strip, but make sure it's in the center. That way your always half way home! No matter which way you go!

This. Bally's would be ideal IMO. Decent hotel, cheap rates, and it's right in the middle of everything
