We are in Dallas for the weekend and want to take the kids to the zoo one day. Which zoo is better, Dallas or Ft Worth? I've heard good things about both but only 1 will be chosen. TIA.

Ft. Worth. Make sure to stop by the coyote exhibit.

I think the Dallas Zoo is better with their updates over the past few years. The Ft Worth Zoo was one of the best 20 years ago.

Depends on where you are staying. Go to the closest one, both are good. The savanna at the Dallas zoo is awesome.

We had season passes to both for 4 years. Ft Worth used to be much better than Dallas. It is pretty close now. The Savannah addition to Dallas is probably the nicest section of both. I would still go with Forth Worth overall.

Consider going to Dallas World Aquarium while you're in town, too.

FW. Went to the Dallas zoo a month ago and while it is a good one, FW is better.

DWA is a good suggestion. It is an aquarium, but it has lots of other animal exhibits. It is South American themed.
