CNN has been overcovering the tits off this story all morning- one of their talkings heads literally said "It's already being called one of the scariest plane flights ever."

Scary is when you are coming in hot at DFW in a blinding rain and lightning storm and your American Airlines plane slides off the end of the runway. That will make you take a drink. At least it made me take one.

CNN made a concerted effort to about a year ago to shift from "hard news" to sensationalizing stories that others aren't covering. They have readily admitted this.

They get crushed by Fox in the ratings, so they have to jump on stories like this to make money. MH370 was money in the bank for CNN; that's why they covered it nonstop for months while Fox was reporting on Crimea, healthcare, etc.
