I think the only one I know by name is Soul Sister.

I like whoever hosts the jazz show on Thursday mornings. A few weeks ago he apolgized for cutting off a Miles Davis song, which "is as henious of an act you can commit on a jazz station." That line had me cracking up.

My buddy, Jelly Roll Justice, had the Thurs afternoon jazz from the market slot, but he moved to Cali. Another buddy, Freddie Blue, does fill in spots for the New Orleans music show. As far as a dj with a regular slot, gotta be my man, Bill DeTurk, Fri 11-2.

You nailed it with Andrew. Hands down the best they have. His Playlist is an incredible assortment of blues. Problem Child is good on Friday afternoon, as is Marc Stone on Tuesday afternoons. Some of the night shift dj' s really bring heat too. On Sundays Hazel the Delta Rambler is solid, great coffee drinking music for a quiet Sunday morning, bluegrass, folk, etc.

Anyway, Andrew is the best in my opinion.

Right. And he's usually great at giving valuable snippets of background information in between tracks. Sometimes his playlists have a nice theme to them.

I hardly ever listen on nights or weekends. I need to make a point of catching her sometime soon.

OZ is in the process of adding a new station, that will focus on new, New Orleans music (bounce/brass band, etc). Will only be available via digital access. I understand it should be up and running within 60 days.

I want to say she starts at 8 pm on Saturday nights on the OZ and then around midnight does a live show at Hi Ho Lounge

This. 8-10 on OZ, then her Hustle party at Hi-Ho from 11ish-3 or so. She was at Mimi's until the noise ordinance crackdown a year or two ago, then proceeded over to Hi-Ho. Her Prince themed Hustle a few weeks back was phunky
