What is our Cap Space looking like this offseason?
Most likely just the MLE ($5 million per year), and BiAnnual Exception ($2 million per). If we cut everyone cuttable except Withey we would have about $6.5 million in cap space and the $2.7 million cap room exception. Not enough to go after any big names without making trades that clear cap space.

Historically, almost none of the "rumored" deals out there the week before the draft happen... \start buying into stuff on Tues and Wed

NBA peeps are worried about the Bulls right now. A starting 5 of Rose, Afflalo, Carmelo, Taj + Noah w/ Butler as 6th man is VERY doable.

Would the Lakers send Nash for Gordon? Nash wouldn't even have to move to Nola, we could just pay him his $9 mil and tell him thanks for saving us $21 million. Enjoy LA and Canada.
Little late here, but I could actually see that happening.
The Okafor/Ariza for Rashard Lewis trade comes to mind as somewhat of a precedence for this. Dell taking back a short term cap hit to alleviate long-term space... I wouldn't hate it at all.

Hell even a starting 5 of Rose/Afflalo/Butler/Taj/Noah is very legit.
They still have that overseas guy(tiliotic sp?)
