I sometimes go back and forth between them and ESPN but I find I go to them more often when Ian Darke isn't doing the game.

Why?

Do you speak Spanish?

I've never bothered to formally learn it but it's so prevalent in the southwest that it sorta works its way into your brain.

Plus, the announcers are just more fun.

i do. i don't speak spanish at all…i don't have cable, so it's the easiest way to go because ESPN 3 is a slight delay. it's pretty fun. the announcers are fun to just listen to their voice inflections.

As a kid during the 1998, 02 & 06 World Cups, I'd switch it to Univision everytime a goal was scored for obvious reasons

I do. No speaking Espanol for me, but their feed is free on their Apple/Android app. Plus as someone said, they are fun to listen to.

I cannot watch a soccer game with english commentators. The spanish speakers are way more exciting. All the games have been watched on univision by me.

Yeah this is like his twelfth world cup or something. All of them say Gol in their own way but you know when somebody scores.

Si. I've only got basic local channels. The Univision one is in HD and more lively (aka I don't know what the frick they're talking about Unless it's a goal)

I've been watching it at work because our firewall blocks Watch ESPN. I have 2 monitors so I can put it on one and pretend to work on the other.

Ya basically since directv doesn't support watch espn I use univsion on the directv app. I had it on my tablet at work for the Ghana game and was working on my laptop in my office. When we scored at the start I about fell out of my chair because the announcer exploded when the ball went in. Startled the crap out of me
