It was a treat to get to see him. How often do you think these celebrity owners eat at their own establishments.

I don't know about other celeb restaurant owners, but Ditka must spend a lot of time at his. I was in Chicago last fall and went to his restaurant....sure enough, he was there. Seems pretty laid back and takes the time to speak and take pictures with his customers.

Saw him when I was there about 10 years ago to. Had met my parents for dinner and my mom said something to him about the saints, just remember him laughing very loudly and say basically yeah frick that, then walking off

I get that. It just still pisses me off that Benson got bamboozled into hiring that dude, who clearly had long since stopped giving a rat's arse about anything.
