I'm from Mississippi, where would be the best place in south Louisiana for me to bring my own boat for spec and redfish trip?

Thanks for the info have been to Venice on guided trip once, just bought the boat and want to learn how to fish down there

If you want specks and reds then fish out of leeville in lafourche parish. You can access timbalier bay and the various barrier islands or you can fish canals for reds. Either way it's some great fishing with easy access.

Well you have D'iberville and Biloxi area that have decent inshore fishing but where you guys have specs we have white trout. Not nearly as many options
