On sportscenter, Ron Jaworski ranked Zach as the number 2 quarterback in the draft behind Blake Bortles.

Some ESPN analysts have him with the best arm in the draft.

Manziel slipping everyday because he tries to run too much and will get killed like RG3.

I hardly ever agree with Jaws so I'm not sure how to take this. But honestly I think Mett has one if the highest ceilings in this draft. He can make every single throw there is in the book.

Well, it's true. Zak is a matured qb with high football IQ. He has a strong arm and is accurate as can be. It's just a shame that he did not get 3 years under Cam...no doubt would have been more hyped.
Anyone who thinks someone like JM would be a better NFL qb is insane.

If you can't even spell his name correctly, you won't be taken serious....ly.

I just hope he's healthy enough to put on a show at LSU's Pro Day. He'll be throwing to Odell and Jarvis, so that should be a win-win for everybody.

Only thing with Zach is he's gonna need a very strong o-line. If he gets drafted to an organization that has one, he can wreak some havoc.

If I'm and NFL scout, this is what I see.

Played 2 years under a questionable offensive philosophy and had average seasons.

In just one year under an NFL type QB coach and good offensive philosophy he made a complete 180. All this is just ONE year. So I'm sitting here thinking how much more can we do in a couple years? To me he has the highest ceiling.

Mettenburger is paradise medium rare with mustard'd be nice
Not too particular, not too precise
I'm just a Metteneburger in paradise.

I like mine with lettuce and tomato
Heinz 57 and french fried potatoes
Big kosher pickle and a cold draught beer
Well, good god Almighty which way do I steer

For a Mettenburger in paradise
Makin' the best of every virtue and vice.
Worth every damn bit of sacrifice
To get a Mettenburger in paradise;
To be a Mettenburger in paradise.
I'm just a Mettenburger in paradise.

Hat Tricks likes his Mettenburger medium rare.
I like it well done but sometimes don't care.
The Mettenburgers so good it don't need no spice
but a little Tiger Sauce makes mine taste nice.
The price of the burger right now is real cheap,
but that's soon to change so go buy you a heap.
The Mettenburger will soon be in the NFL.
In all the food stands ready to sell.
But like Mett, they might move a little slow,
just taste one and give it time and the Mettenburger will steal the show.

This. It comes off as homerism to non LSU fans, but the guy has talent. He's not very mobile but hell neither are Brady or Manning. Not that he'll have that high of a ceiling, but given the right system and o-line, Mett can develop into a franchise NFL QB in a couple years.

I totally agree Brett.

Problem is he can't get out of his own way.

Someone will kill him back there.

His footwork from '12 to '13 to me was the biggest difference. His drop backs and movement in the pocket were much more fluid.

Maybe he didn't have manning type college career, but he was better than Brady was at this stave, imo. I personally think if he goes to an organization like NE and Kearns under Brady, he will be the man in a few years with great numbers
