where to get resin and fiberglass in BR

The title pretty much sums it up. I'm rebuilding the transom on my boat. Before I spend $50 on shipping for what I need I wanted to see if there was anywhere in BR that had competitive prices on resin and fiberglass. I already checked west marine.

I have gotten a kit before from Napa. You will probably have to search to find which store actually has it in stock.

I don't think those kits are going to be big enough and likely wouldn't have the right fiberglass for my application in them. Plus they tend to be on the expensive side compared to buying material speerately from a fiberglass supplier.

there is a place in Port Allen that has great prices. I got the stuff when I restored a Kenner. Forgot their name but just google for fiberglass in port allen. they supply some of the boat builders.

You can check with Donovan Marine in New Orleans.
They have the own brand of resin and fiber cloth.

I think it is interplastic distribution group. they are on the I 10 frontage road out past Crazy Horse. they will have everything you need. they supply VIP and and the companies that make fiberglass tanks. they have all the fabrics and resins. I bought 5 gallons of gelcoat for under $200.
