Anyone have an Ultimate Team on PC? I need friends to have squads to practice against, and I'm really not looking to build a second account up from scratch. For your troubles, tell me who you're looking for or need (within reason) and I may be able to give them to you. If they're under 100K, chances are I've got them to give.

I don't like playing the tournament teams or wasting fitness cards to try out new squads. Playing a friend's squad gives me a player built team to try out new things with without wasting anything.

True but I like doing is to have 2 teams so while I play with one, the other sits on the bench so fitness is never an issue.

Has anyone playing the manager mode been offered other managerial positions without applying? Or is applying the only way to move teams ?

Teams will randomly offer you jobs. I was offered the Wolfsburg job while I was 9 pts clear in the epl and playing in the final of UEFA. I politely declined.

Eta: it doesn't necessarily happen all that often. But I've found I get the most job offers when I'm already at bigger clubs.

i played through enough years to build Yedlin into an 82 rated back and watch him retire, but i dont remember ever being offered a job. i always had to apply.

I was getting offers left and right when I played a career at Spurs in 2013. I've been playing a few dynasties at smaller clubs with absolutely no offers despite winning league titles and qualifying for Europe (even won the fake Europa with Grasshopper from Switzerland).

My objective with this dynasty is to try and work my way up to one of the big 3 leagues (I've started in the Austrian Bundesliga and won the title in my first season by 7 points). I think I'm going to hold off applying for jobs the first few years. Hopefully I can makes waves in the CL this upcoming campaign.

On a side note, I scouted Yedlin last night and brought him to Austria on a $1.1 million transfer in the winter window.

i got screwed doing this. started at Brighton, worked up, thinking a few CL trophies would get me a big job, but it came waaay later than i thought. by that time, all the super young prospects had already landed huge transfer fees, and the "financial takeover" item in the store was only a one-time use, which i assumed i could buy before every transfer window. i went to Granada, thinking id make them a spanish super-club, only to find i could never get enough $$ to sign top players, and had to play every freaking game for two season before i could get real madrid to accept. it was brutal. hence, Yedlin became one of the worlds best RBs.

Applying is the way to go, but it's really random.

I tried that and it worked for a while but eventually they started getting upset over play time.

First season was fine.
Best 2 players got upset in my second season.
About half my squad grumbling in my 3rd.

Never got worse than that but by that time most of my young guys had progressed enough to where fitness wasn't a problem.
