The aversion to chain restaurants, a flick I would like to present.

This happens to be one of the better documentaries on what chain restaurants and chains in general do to communities in my opinion, and well worth the time to watch it, especially since it takes place some 3 years in the wake of Katrina in NOLA, and should be pretty familiar surroundings to most.

For those who choose to see it, I feel confident that you will walk away with perhaps a clearer understanding of what the aversion to chains is all about, who really has a vested interest in our communities, and where communities gain most in the long run in revenue. I think that John Besh does a pretty good job of nailing down things, as do the farmers and fishermen, etc.
