Where does Schiano land in all of this madness?

He was a fairly good coach in the college ranks. Does he head back there or hope for another stint in the NoFunLeague?

I'm sort of surprised he didn't get the Penn State gig, and I'm surprised he's not getting a ton of attention for jobs right now. However, I did read not too long ago that he was a holy terror at Rutgers and tended to be an a-hole autocrat (which carried over to his stint in Tampa), which probably turned Penn State off.
Still shocked he's not getting some Big Ten, AAC or ACC love. He'd be a good hire for a place like Vandy.

its not like there are that many open jobs right now in those conferences.
Wasn't it just Louisville, Penn State, UConn, and Wake Forest?

Next Governor of NJ. But seriously, Vandy HAS to offer this guy. His schtick & recruiting skills meant zero in the NFL, but he's a great college coach and could keep Vandy in the right direction.
