I have both, and I'm leaning towards starting Vereen. I don't trust Belichick to actually feed Ridley, and I have a feeling there will be a lot of points score in this one. Who would you roll with?

I do too, but I'm still playing Ridley because he will most likely score. Vereen could easily start and take over this game. The Patriots like using other backs beside Ridley during primetime games.

I think Vereen is the man for now. Ridley has a case of the fumbles

If it's PPR play Vereen. He led the team in receiving yards and receptions Monday

22, 11, 14, 24, 11 the past 5 weeks. So cursed. Belichick did a number on you guys early in the season. Could see Vereen in a PPR though.

If it's PPR Vereen 100%.

If it's standard I would lean Ridley.

I think Belichick knows they need to control the clock to win... well you need to run a decent amount to do that.

Vereen since it's PPR I guess. But Ridley has scored at least 1 TD in each of his last 5 games.

The fumble last week limited his snaps, but he still got in the endzone later in the game. Ridley will still get his 15 or so carries in the game.

quote:

Tom Brady called Shane Vereen's role a "hugely important part of our offense.

On Monday night, we saw just how desperate the Patriots were to get their passing-down back into the lineup. Vereen was on the field for the second play of the game, played on 34 snaps overall and posted team-highs in catches (8), receiving yards (65) and targets (11). He'll be a major part of the gameplan again this week when the Patriots host the Broncos on Sunday Night Football. Vereen will be a PPR monster down the stretch.

I'm trying to talk myself into starting Vereen in my standard league over CJ2K or Tate.

I won't make the switch most likely.
