Come on Louisiana boys, you will have lots of PT and have a great shot at starting, rep the state and have great shot to play for a national championship or two with the pieces were putting together.

Agreed but there are a few we must reel in. Hopefully they see the great opportunity they have before them. To start for home state school as a freshman. And play for a sec and national championship for a team who sends more kids to the NFL than any other

Will Willis be a DE or DT? 6'3 275, could be 295 by sophomore year. He would be a force on the inside with Gilmore.

Likely dt I think. It would be tough to stay under 280 once he hits the weights in college and would be a little easier to gain 15-20 pounds probably

Moffit bases his regimens based off of what they players need.

If Chavis wants him at DE, moffitt will be conditioning him for that. And vice versa.

Willis needs to go the DT route because he will get bigger and is more a power and quickness than speed guy.

We just need to get him in purple and gold. Everything else can be figured out later. Come on, Big Gee!! We need you, big man.

What's wrong with a heavy DE? As long as he doesn't lose quickness, he'll be fine on the edges. I prefer size over speed. Especially to hold up against the run. Our DEs were getting thrown around like rag dolls because they are small.

No defense can be successful without dominating DTs...and LSU has none right now...this would be my focus right now...and LBs can function properly with
no pressure up front...

The other difference was Mosely. We had no answer for him. Hopefully Garrett will be the man next year. Why Beckwith could not have been tried at MLB even if he's eventually going to be a de is beyond me. Lack of strength, tackling and poor angles killed us.

Les Miles and staff are the 2nd best coaching staff in college football. Sending a ton of players to NFL.
Buy LSU. Play for your people. Be the difference.

Recruiting players for a 3 year gig has actually hurt the program...rant away...I don't give a fat ____! Look at what this has done to our depth and physicality...this is not a design for winning NCs...and how much money they make after college is not any of my business...not mine!
