Yes. JP won in OT 27-20. Bassfield had over 400 yards offense and Prep had a little over 200. I didn't make the game but my best friend did and said that Bassfield had some unbelievable talent but very undisciplined. He also said that Prep was definitely slower than Bassfield but was a very disciplined team.
BTW, Bassfield plays in 2A in Mississippi so sees little talent most of its schedule. They play the school where my wife works in a few weeks, if I make it I will check out this guy and post my opinion on him. And no, I am not a recruiting guru or talent evaluator. Sorry.

Prep has twice as many students as Bassfield. Not that big of an upset, plus historically Prep has played good against public schools.
