Hope that was sarcasm, because 2.5 billion worldwide for the trilogy makes it great by film standards.

No, that makes it great for financial standards. It blows chunks by film standards.

I was mainly talking about after Dumbledore and Grindlewald broke apart and started working against each other.

So a magical version of Kurt and Blaine from Glee but with actual dick sucking?

You're giving all Potter fans a bad name by using a freaking Glee reference.

You aren't a potter fan unless you get the actual reference. Dumbledore and Grindelwald were in love, at least Dumbledore was and Grindelwald manipulated that. Its possibly why he delayed so long in finally stopping him.

Geez dude, that's not the point I was making. The point is you shouldn't know the characters name from Glee.

I feel like I shouldn't have to explain this joke.

Harry Potter is not twilight. Every book series isn't for middle school girls.

Isn't that why all movies are made? It is taking an already known part of the Universe, in this case an already published book that exists in our world and in the HP Universe and shows the story of how that book was written in the HP universe. Its a brilliant idea actually.

As am also mad about the breaking of the Elder wand with no showing of the fixing of the Holly and Phoenix Feather wand.

It was good until they shat the bed at the end. Shouldn't have deviated from the books at the end since that was fricking retarded. Seems like no one gave a shite at the end that Harry killed Voldemort.

I like the show, its a guilty pleasure. The "inspiring teacher" stuff is ego bait.

A book surrounding an early 20s Dumbledore and Grindlewald could be legit.

One of my biggest issues with the DH movies was the lack of the Dumbledore/Grindewald story. I know it was mentioned in passing but I was really looking forward to seeing it acted out.

yep and I've always wanted to see the final duel especially when some have speculated it happened during the firebombing of Berlin in 1945

Motion Picture studios are part of business, not charities. They exist for the sole purpose of separating you from your cash.

Exactly. Also how Harry just wiggles out of Hagrids arms and runs away, I mean wtf??? No hiding under the invisibility cloak saving people? Falling and fighting? My issue with the whole movie was they did all this crap to show it looking cool in 3D. Like they show them fall slow motion into the water for 10 seconds after they jump off the dragon, but they skip over most of the Dumbledore/Grindewald storyline. And then they just ruined the whole battle, my favorite chapter of any book, by trying to make it look cool and 3D and changing how it happened...
