Tax free weekend on Gun Sales

Anyone know when it is?

Looking to purchase a pistol and would rather wait until the tax free weekend. I remember last year it was sometime in September.

Times like that when I wish I still had a Louisiana ID instead of MS

I haven't heard of the MS folks doing the tax free weekends for firearms, but maybe I'm not listening enough. I'll be looking to add a 1911 soon and would be nice to get that kind of discount

Dont think they do in AL either. Also, after that post where the guy bought those 1911s at the police auction I have been looking here for those too....no luck.

I do not advocate credit cards, but some good deals can be had on tax free weekends with by opening one and getting the 15% off, then pay it off the first statement. you can also stack other coupons that the weekly circular has as well.
