Retiring from USAF in the next couple of years and looking at GA for a potential retirement spot, specifically Athens/greater Athens area. Any headhunters in the area worth contacting? I'm a UGA alum with kids who desparately want to go to UGA. Got to get that in-state tuition going!! That's option #1. Option #2 is San Antonio.

why san antonio? if your #1 choice is Athens, and your #2 choice is in Texas, you'd think it'd be Austin.

We were stationed at Randolph AFB in SA and loved it. Have a ton of USAF buds planning to retire there and would be a fun retirement BUT the kids come first. Took the kids to Athens for the first time to participate in a UGA sports camp in June and the whole family was hooked--big time. Plus I have frineds there too. San Antonio was #1 choice for years until this summer.

What is your experience? Look up FPC on LinkedIn. I wouldn't post your resume there, though, as you will get a lot of spam.
