Smoked a piling today and busted my motor to pieces. It still works though. Any ideas on how to or what to do now? Don't really want to get a new one.

I'd swear I know if it'd have happened about a month ago.
Same looking damage and same looking TM. If nothing internal if screwed you can order the casing and such.
On 2nd look, take it to a TM repair place.

Ride those zip ties out as long as you can.

I agree with motorboat, just go with it. My head unit has been held together with electrical tape for a few years now.

If it's a clamp on, just go to WalMart and get another.

Sorry bout being in a shite mood last weekend but you can get case reasdonable online. Friend of mine had a similar accident. His has been zip tied for two years. No problem with direction with his though. Cool now?

I had same issue in spring. Cost me $37 for housing bottom and circuit board. By the amount Superior Trolling Motor in Lafayette keep on hand must be a common replacement.
