I can assure you that Prado never tried to ground out to the right side. He tried to get a hit the other way and grounded out instead. No one actually tries to make an out unless they are sac bunting. Making outs on purpose isn't real baseball. It's stupid baseball, and Martin Prado is not a stupid baseball player.
