Just watched his fight on Showtime. Damn the guy is 48 and while his technique is awkward in MMA the guy is still a freak.

Makes you wonder how he could have done if mma was around back then with all that anger he had.

He would have been the GOAT, there is no doubt in my mind.

He's actually 51 and is still in amazing shape. You were probably watching old Strikeforce reruns on Showtime.

Didn't he do 2000 push ups and 2000 sit ups a day or is that someone else?

When coming up as an NFL rookie all he did was plyometric type exercises.

He is my favorite running back ever. He could probably still play in the NFL if he wanted too. I watched his SEC Storied the other day, and he said that a few weeks ago (this was probably last year) he ran a 4.39 40.

in the earlier days, rickson gracie would have choked him out, imo.

i though that was willie gault or however you spell his name who ran like a 4.4 on his birthday.
i think hershel could still play. hes 51 and looks younger than 30. same thing with sugar ray leonard

true, but he would have had as good of a chance as anyone in the world against the Gracies at MMA's inception.
Most people really don't understand how much of a freak athlete Hershel was/is. He very well may be the most athletic human of our age.
I'm not really exaggerating either.
