Just watched his fight on Showtime. Damn the guy is 48 and while his technique is awkward in MMA the guy is still a freak.

He's actually 51 and is still in amazing shape. You were probably watching old Strikeforce reruns on Showtime.

When coming up as an NFL rookie all he did was plyometric type exercises.

He is my favorite running back ever. He could probably still play in the NFL if he wanted too. I watched his SEC Storied the other day, and he said that a few weeks ago (this was probably last year) he ran a 4.39 40.

i though that was willie gault or however you spell his name who ran like a 4.4 on his birthday.

i think hershel could still play. hes 51 and looks younger than 30. same thing with sugar ray leonard

true, but he would have had as good of a chance as anyone in the world against the Gracies at MMA's inception.

Most people really don't understand how much of a freak athlete Hershel was/is. He very well may be the most athletic human of our age.

I'm not really exaggerating either.
