So i just started watching this show and I'm about to finish up season 1. I really like the concept of the show and Michael C. Hall, but it's tough getting over how bad the rest of cast is. The sister is unbearable to me.

My question is do the supporting characters/cast ever get any better and is the show worth continuing to watch?

I watched it for 5 seasons despite the cast, and then I quit watching because the rest of the show dipped significantly in quality.

Really the only character that ever got on my nerves was Deb. Her character does improve IMO over the rest of the Series.

He's one of the few that I don't have a problem. Him and Dexter's gf aren't bad, and the latino cop guy is alright.

Angel is a good character except that he is a total Beta when it comes to women.

Mostly, Deb definitely improves as an actor IMO
