need help with steam

got a problem dudes. I downloaded steam and fallout new Vegas.
after fallout downloaded I click play and it asks to download direct x 11. it goes through that process and then nothing.
every time I click play it prompts for direct x 11.
what the hell.

Makes sense. Sometimes you have to restart after a DX install.

It takes time. Just remember when something isn't working to be patient and not get upset because then you often miss something easy like is it plugged in

I was installing a new router the other day and was getting so pissed off that I couldn't get it to work. I restarted the pc and it started working
