What is going on with 92.3 New Orleans?

Seems like the past two or three weeks they have been steadily transitioning to pop music. It went from rock to pop/rock. No idea where it is gonna go from here. Quality has always been way below 93.7 in Laffy and 97.9 in Biloxi, but I can't even listen to it now
Did someone new buy the channel?

97.9 is still my favorite rock station in the area. I used to listen to it all of the time when I lived in the dirty dell. I can listen to it all day without wanting to change the channel
93.7 is falls behind 97.9

rock radio in Louisiana is slowly dying

It's really becoming unlistenable. Straight pop

80 percent of the songs it plays right now can also be heard on 97.1 and 102.5

Whats really weird was the attempt to pick up more "indie" rock acts to play in their rotation coupled with what you're noticing now.
Sounds like an identity crisis.

I came to this board to bitch about this station and found this thread.
Not only are they playing shitty music lately, they are playing the same songs over and over again. It sucks that New Orleans does not have another new rock station to turn to (although 95.7 is doing a good job). I can't stand to listen to this Indie\hipster crap, where is the rock??

Preach on brother... I still enjoy FM radio.
Have not had a good rock station since 106.7FM
I use to catch 104.9 in BR... not sure that even exist anymore.

Not to mention it doesn't work on the Westbank hardly ever, even uptown I struggle to get a feed.
I'm practically 100% WWL or WWOZ.
I'll give 95.7 a try though.
