Trying to justify buying a new set of irons. I know some people are all about the new gear and change yearly. I'm hitting Callaway X-20s looking to upgrade possibly after 3-4 years of use, but not sure how much it will even improve my game. How often do you switch?

Probably every 5-6 years, I'm about to get a set of pure blades and not get another set until I'm too old to hit them

All personal preference. I hit my Tommy Armour 845s for well over a decade and still have them in my sons bag. I've had my Clevelands for a year and not looking to switch. You could be changing irons yearly if you went with every new improvement iron that comes out. If you aren't a pro and play for enjoyment and you hit your irons ok why switch......unless of course you are on OT baller or Threeputt.
