Gator Tail Reverse Question

I'm only familiar with Pro-Drive, and really only been around tiller steering boats. How does the Gator Tail shift into reverse on a center console? Is it like any other outboard that you just pull the throttle back? I know there is a process on the Pro Drive to spin the foot around for full powered reverse.

They put a foot lever for gator tail reverse.

They have a button mounted on the console that you push and the motor goes in to reverse.

I think they have had a few different models. Lever, foot pedal, button. Not sure what device they are using now. They are always trying to better the current design
