Just wait till many of you are honored to get married and have little girls than enjoy softball, Volleyball, soccer or basketball. See how you arm-chair psychotherapist's feel then.

On the back of my little girl's West Los Angeles team cap, it read "girls rule."

Just maybe you'll will have the honor of having kids one day and will appreciate the fact the it's 2013 and we have equal rights here in the USA...women can vote!

Geaux Gils!!!

Why no love for softball? Because 97% of the guys on here are are womanizers. They think the woman's place is in the home. There. I said it. They obviously aren't real sports fans.

Regardless, it's pretty embarrassing some feel the need to click on the thread and belittle people that are great ambassadors to LSU, who they supposedly support. If you don't like women's athletics, just don't click on the thread and voice your useless input. It is evident players and players' parents browse the message boards. Do us all a favor and show a little class, rantards.

You are living in 2001.

SEC softball scores from Sunday:

LSU 5, Arkansas 4
Alabama 14, Missouri 6
Kentucky 4, South Carolina 3
Tennessee 6, Georgia 1
Mississippi State 6, Florida 5
Texas A&M 10, Colorado State 2
Ole Miss 11, Auburn 9

Sorry to blow your argument out of the water. It has been this way for a few years now. Offenses are catching up to pitching. Very few 1-0 games anymore.

It those of you who don't appreciate women's sports are ever blessed enough to have a daughter talented enough to play a Division 1 sport in the SEC you would see that these ladies are top level athletes.
One of my proudest moments was when my daughter played in the WCWS wearing an LSU jersey!

I don't get why all these men hate women sports. That just seems a little gay to me. By the way LSU softball team has alot of good looking players even in uniform and down right hot out of uniform.

You didn't blow my argument out of the water. You listed one days worth of games. I would like to see an average over several years and I bet you pitchers and defense have a clear advantage. I play softball regularly and it is hard as hell to hit a fast pitch going 60+ mph.

I have seen just as many 1-0 games lately. Bottom line - soccer, hockey and softball are boring games because its too hard to score. This isn't debatable and is why they aren't popular sports. If they were popular, they would beat out the big 3 in attendance and revenue.

LSU baseball and their opponents average 10 runs per 9.0 inning game.

LSU softball and their opponents average 7.5 runs per 7 inning game.

The difference is negligible.

I really enjoy fastpitch softball. The quality of the play of the girls has improved 10-fold over the last 5-10 years. I also think it's great on TV because the field is so condensed compared to baseball. I think that's why the TV ratings are actually quite good.
