Then in his response, Hamlin starts to get weepy and emotional.
Immediately after he talked about spending time with his daughter. Get it right.

This thread didn't turn out as you planned..

No plan made. Just hanging out, stating some facts. Woosification of sports reporting. Many don't get it because they're right in the middle of it.

Exactly. I heard Marty Smith (your countrified reporter that I'm sure every NASCAR fan knows) on the Roundtable yesterday talking about the piece on ESPN. Went into detail about Hamlin getting emotional about it. Wearing a brace so he doesn't risk becoming paralyzed from the wreck. Wanting to get down and play with his daughter but he can't. I'd shed a tear too. OP is just a douche.

This from a race car driver!

ESPN is a joke. They look down on people for their behavior while they do many of the same things.

Have you seen the interview, oh sarcastic one?
It's amazing how much fail in reading the OP there is here (not just you).
Hamlin gets verclempt over Lagono saying he didn't wreck him on purpose, and that he's the one that has to endure rehab while Logano gets to race next weekend. This has nothing to do with his daughter, which by the way shouldn't be part of this dumb interview. Hamlin chooses to race; wrecks and all. He's the one putting his family relationships in peril, not the other drivers.
Hey, if you love ESPN, that's cool.
This interview was just another reason why I gave this channel up.

He didn't get weepy until he started talking about his daughter. You are absolutely wrong.
I guess Pitino should just suck it up too. And some of those pitiful blubbering Louisville players too.
p.s. I can't bear ESPN except for actual games.

You're right. I'm wrong. I will go back to enjoying my sports programming with ESPN. Thanks!
Thanks for your Pitino reference too. That helped me to come back to the fold.

After 1400 posts, I finally get called a douche.
At least, I got going for me now.
