Has anyone ever tried putting out one or two of those styrophoam floating lights by a tree with a bunch if yoyos tied in it?

I may try it tonight. I have access to unlimited 12 volt batteries from 7 a/h-18 a/h. I was thinking about just securing the battery in the tree and leave the light floating.

Couldn't hurt could it?

I just want to get this straightened up before this thread takes off. You can't be talking about actual yoyo's, right?

Might attract more than just white perch i.e. garfish, turtles, etc.

I tried putting a glowstick like you can get at a fair on a catfish trot line, didn't notice a difference one way or another.

They had a pic of what we're talking about on page 4 of the last yoyo thread.

I'm sure you do, being in the same industry.

This year in gonna invest in some 12 volt deer feeders.

I'm actually not with FTS anymore, moved on to another venture.

But back to the subject, I don't see why it wouldn't work

It will work. Fish your shiners a little deeper than normal when running the lights.

this.

I know we use to slay the presidential perch on lake sinclaire and lake oconee under lights.

we would put the lights out around the pontoon boat and wait bout 30-45min to start fishing. It wasnt uncommon to catch 200 in a couple hours
