Listening to the post game show, and I only heard it once but,

They said if LSU wins 1 game and/or Vandy loses one, we are a first round bye lock. That doesn't make shite of sense to me, can anyone explain this?

What I think is that he meant Mizzou and he didn't mean first round bye, he meant....well, I have no idea what he meant.

14 team tourney is a bit confusing.

Top four get automatic quarterfinal spot. Next six get one bye. Bottom four play an extra game.

I THINK.

That's correct.

Bottom 4 plays Wed
Middle 6 plays Thurs
Top 4 plays Fri

Top 4 teams get in essence a "double bye." won't play until Friday.

Next 6 get a bye. Their first game is Thurs.

Bottom 4 teams play in first round on Wed.

Top 10 get a bye but not really..

11-14 plays in the 1st round which is more like the opening round. Then it's a 12 team tournament starting Thursday with the top 4 off until Friday.

The top 10 would play 1 less game but an 11-14 seed isn't running the table anyways.

With three games to go and LSU holding the head to head tie breaker vs. Vandy, if LSU gets a three game lead over the Dores, then we are a lock to be ahead of them in the SEC Tourney.

As of now, SC, MS State and Auburn are pretty much locks for the three bottom seeds in the tourney. If Vandy loses one more, I assume they're a lock for the last of the "bottom four" spots.

I'll start off by saying we would need to win out.

Well duh.

I didn't realize we only play Ole Miss once this season until about two weeks ago. So I know we are two games back on them with three to go and we play them to finish the season.

So right there I know we have to win 2 of 3, beating them in the process. And they have to drop 2 of 3.

They play @Miss St, Alabama, and @LSU

We get @Mizz, @A&M, Ole Miss

If we can muster up and take the final two games, we can jump them but what about Tenn and Mizzou?

frick it, we need to win out

If i'm not mistaken, LSU would have to win out, while also needing Tenn. to lose 2 more games (at UGA / Mizzou) and Ole miss to lose one more + the LSU game. (at Miss st or vs. Alabama)

I'd expect that would require beating Auburn

So don't count on it
