Boos blocks....functional? Or just nice pieces of furniture?

What does the board think of wooden cutting boards in relation to germs and whatnot?

Personally I don't put raw protein on mine. But cooked protein I am fine with. I wipe it down with a lysol wipe if I feel it needs it. Also looks great on my counter, so I like it. Hard to say if I'm cleaning it really well though

I love them. We use then heavily and as long as you keep them oiled they are a super easy clean up

We have a big square chopping block that I have never used, figure 3-4' tall and 24" square.

I personally use the epicurean boards, or Teflon acquired from an undisclosed source.
