3 pts further clear of Everton. That's really nice. Thank god Arsenal won that. I thought Santi probably should've been sat today, but props to him. Had his best match in a long time.

Jack was pretty awful, but his pass to Monreal to set up the goal was a beauty.

Jenks played really well defensively outside the weak clearance which eventually led to the goal. Had one dangerous moment in attack. Still growing there. Ramsey seems to be our only RB who can lift a cross over the defense (he was 1 for 1 doing it today )

The success Aston Villa had on breaks off corners today reminded me of when we used to be good at that. I don't know why we no longer leave anyone up on corners.

Szczesny's error was fricking awful. That should've never been a goal. Kid has talent, but we need either someone better/more consistent or someone to push him to be better.

Arteta also had a great match IMO. Very solid positionally. Broke up some moves quite well and passed it well.

Awesome, my captain Cazorla and Lukakakuku both got braces.

I only caught it from the 58th on, but Wilshere had 3 very threatening chips/vertical passes into the box that could and should have lead to some great opportunities.

Not a fan of having Ramsey & Cazorla on at the same time, neither play wing all that well. Rosicky needs to be getting minutes over Diaby. Rosicky looked pretty damn good last 2 matches he's been in, while Diaby has kinda done not much of anything.

Cazorla was (nominally) a winger today. Ramsey was in the double pivot then RB then back into MF.

Thought Diaby was pretty solid today, actually, but he came off right when you started watching. Wouldn't mind seeing Rosicky either. I'd like to see him in there though MF balance could be a concern.

QPR has a ton of money, but makes worse transfers than circa 2006 Chelsea and 2011 Liverpool combined.

it just seems foolish to make that transfer when they're almost assuredly going to be relegated

i know they've been able to pocket some EPL money the past couple years, but a lot of these guys won't want to play on a championship squad next year

I think you and the rest of us (gunner fans) have a completely different way of looking at matches.

Not that either one of us is right or wrong, just saying.

Nice goal for Kei Kamara. I wonder if he will stay at Norwich after his loan period.

Well I thought Jenkinson was dangerous for a large majority of the time on offense, with that one pass that should've easily been a goal as well.

Also I agree with the above poster that Rosicky should be out there over Diaby.

Diaby's greatness comes from his surging runs from our half... which he just hasn't been doing so far since coming back from his injury, I would rather have Rosicky who seems to really add a lot of energy as well as the crisp passes and runs.

Besides the burst into the box, didn't seem like he did anything. Nothing poor, I just didn't see any danger coming from him.

Diaby had 3 or 4 really gorgeous balls up to Giroud and one to Theo. One of those into Giroud ended up being a nice one-two with him surging into the box. Gave the ball away some though cheaply (as did nearly all our players in the first half). Played pretty well defensively. Like I said earlier, the problem will be our midfield balance. I think Diaby positionally plays the double pivot better than anyone on our team right now, though Ramsey has shown some promise there of late. Jack's pushed further up the pitch this season and Rosicky has typically done the same. The problem with Rosicky starting is that he's 3rd on our no. 10 depth chart. I'd definitely be open to seeing how a Jack-Rosicky-Arteta midfield 3 would play out, but that would definitely leave us light.

Time from di Maria's first yellow card until his second: ~10 seconds

Real Madrid have had a player sent off in the last three league games

That's basically what I'm saying, is we just seem to see things completely differently because I thought our right side was a vast improvement offensively this game.

granted it wasn't again BM so theres that.
