Any updates on Kavahra Holmes?

4.4 speedster out of Breaux Bridge I think.
He committed last year but not sure if he is in a JC or what...

Moved to CB and redshirted. He was taken as a known project. Hopefully he works out.

Between he and Derrick Raymond I think one of them will turn into a very good CB. They're both boom or bust IMO and have similar size and athleticism. We'll get a better idea in the Spring.

Academic year is over, bowl game doesnt count, which is why coaches love bowl games. Give the young guys reps that werent getting them during the season because they red shirted. Normally during the season a rs doesnt travel with the team, yet every gets to go to the bowl game.

Is the redshirt rule divided by semesters like that? I remember Saban blowing Travis Daniels redshirt for one play I believe. But maybe that was the SEC championship game I'm thinking of?

Also on the track team, so Holmes is at LSU for his career probably. The only question is whether he can develop into a DB. If he leaves the team it will be to run track full time.

I saw him play in high school
Running comes naturally to Kavahra
Playing football does not
He obviously has tremendous straight line speed and I hope he develops into a top notch football player. If nothing else he will be a valuable member of the track team
