Absolutely, but we have like $24M in cap space tied up in players we payed to go away. We all seemed to have ignored that with our creole blue glasses.

If the hornets had a competent SF, they'd win quite a few more games. But they don't have a single SF on the roster that currently deserves to be on an NBA roster.

It's a little less since Lewis' buyout was not for the full amount . . . like $17m between him and Carroll. Still, that's over 20% of the cap, basically leaving them with the min salary.

Heap nearly a third of the remaining salary into the 1-1-29DNP Gordon, and it starts to take shape.

I'm not sure who was ignoring it, but I've been thinking 20 wins on the season. They might outplay that.
