To get the athletes to Arkansas that fit his philosophy? Seems like the Razorbacks have the personnel that is a 180 from him. Will he be able to adapt in one-two years?

Not sure, but I will give him 2 years. By year 3 things better be legit or else

2 years tops probably.
He'll have some OL that will adapt well right away, but it won't take too long to shore them up. Other than that, it's just about getting an overweight runningback, he should be able to find a few of those. I know LSU hasn't had trouble.

Did Knile Davis graduate?

We actually already have some good RBs that fit his system in Knile Davis, Jonathan Williams and Kody Walker. We also have a couple of really good o-lineman
Bielema's biggest challenge will be on the defensive side, but luckily that's his specialty.

yea, he'll have one year of transition and the second year should be ok. and arkansas has produced a hell of a lot of rb's in the past; that will not be a problem. his problem will be DL. the SEC is all about the DL.

How many Wisconsin lineman are on the roster? How many has Arkansas gotten? Are there any Andrews brothers left?

I think he will be able to get it going pretty quickly. He'll add a few more big OL's and a big power back which he has had no problem doing. Recruits know what he does and the OL's and big backs will give a look to Arky because of what he will install there. Jmo, tifwiw, wtf

He may have a good year next year if Davis can get back to old, but that is a big if. I'm thinking at least 7-5 though. My prediction is that we start competing in the second to third year.

Davis looked good against LSU lil Petrino quit using him for some reason. The pieces are still there I think for him to do will next year. Let's say 8-4.

Not sure. We've been lectured for the past week or so that a Les type coach was not the right fit there, and that they needed a QB development coach because that fit their style. Then they make this hire.
Of course they're all trying to convince themselves that this was a "home run" type hire.

This is what I was expecting when I opened this thread.

There aren't many up and comers or available coaches with this style anymore. We've just had an offensive coach for a long time. The real reason that I think he is a success is because he didn't take all the money he could to free up more for assistants. Which means we're probably about to shell out quite a bit of cash for assistants.

I don't know that he ever will put together a team at Arkansas that looks exactly like his Wisky teams.
