I miss the Deaf Dome.

The student section hasn't been the same since shortly after they started checking tickets to make sure you were an actual student. Prior to that lots of students brought other people to the game who weren't students.
I used to go to a lot of the games starting in the mid to late 80's up thru the early 90's. It was a lot of fun then.
I remember when Mike the Tiger showed up at games with a ref outfit on and blacked out sunglasses and a cane to make fun of the refs. I think the SEC comissioner ordered him to stop.

I haven't been to a game this year but I assume the student section is still behind the backboard? I wish they didn't move it from the side. It was so much better!

The student section was empty for way too many games the past few years for lsu to keep it on the side. Now all of those seats are held by season ticket holders who have to pay taf surcharges. No sense in letting those seats stay empty for 95% of the games for free. It was a good move by lsu.

This is bullshite for the 2009 SEC champ season. I had to get there at least an hour before if I wanted to sit down there.

There were big crowds for some games in the 2nd half of the year in 2009, but thats about it. What about the 2 years before that? Or the 2 years after? How long were the lines?

They moved the student section for the 2010 season, I believe. No lines then. We were pretty bad.

student section should be that lower pit level behind the goal and then wrap down to behind the visiting bench

There were big student crowds every game once SEC play started in 2009. That's all you can ask for when the OOC schedule is so bad.

yeah I really don't get it. I've never seen lower level seats in the stands for media in any other sports venue. It looks really FCS.

then in the Legends Club last night they didn't have the Saints game on. I was like WTF and they said they only have the basic 70 channels. Then I looked closer while Marquette-Florida was on and IT WASN'T EVEN HD! I've been in the Legends Club probably 20 times and never payed that much attention
