This man's courtship will be interesting. I do not think he stays at SJSU. He will be in SEC played at Vandy and Georgia Tech and dad coached at Vandy.

Athlon throws this out there for no real reason.

Mike Bellotti, former Oregon head coach – Bellotti has been out of coaching since 2008 but that shouldn’t stop California from calling if interested. In 14 years at Oregon, the California native went 116-55 and led the Ducks to one BCS bowl appearance. Bellotti will be 62 years old in December, so this isn’t a long-term hire for the program. However, Bellotti is a capable coach and would be a good fit at California.

He didn't deny anything. He's refusing to be distracted before their last game. After Saturday several programs will come calling. He has no local connection so I'm sure the SJSU community knows he is only there temporarily. I'm guessing that he will wait for the right opportunity, probably in the SEC. If Franklin doesn't make a move, maybe MacIntyre will stay put until he does. It would be hard to turn down a 3x or 4x raise, but if he's honest with Cal and says he eventually wants to move to the SEC, Cal won't be interested in him.

But I'll be at the LA Tech @ SJSU game on Saturday, scouting out both sidelines for a potential future Cal HC.

Is a major candidate for Kentucky's job.

More I learn about this guy, the more I want him in Lexington. Don't be surprised if he does end up in the SEC sooner then you think.
