Yeah, I had heard about the taste off, but never really read up on it to get any of the details.

I'm sure the movie smudged a few things here and there for drama, but I enjoyed the hell out of the show.

Great movie. I loved Alan Rickman in it. His face when trying guacamole for the first time is priceless. I pretty much had the same reaction the first time I tried good guacamole.

Probably going to watch it tonight on Netflix streaming.

We were at Kunde winery a couple of weeks ago, it is the winery where they filmed the movie. Great wines by the way at Kunde.

I had my wife watch it with me. She is not all that much of a wine person, but I finally have her convinced that we are going to make the trip to Napa.

I've been trying for several years, but family trips and invitations by friends to go to other vacation spots always derail my plans.

It's on for next year.

We just got back, wife was pregnant and still liked the scenery. When you go I would suggest focusing on the Healdsburg/Sonoma areas over Napa (way to commercialized).

We stayed at this house we rented, it was the PERFECT location, and the lady that owns it was awesome!

That house looks great.
Dumb question I'm sure, but is there anything within walking distance from there? I am always torn between stuff like this on my trips, because I love being able to walk to bars/restaurants and such.

If you liked the movie, read the book, Judgement of Paris.

Not really....It is half mile if that down the road from Kendall Jackson winery. I'll tell you this....at the end of the day after going to wineries, breweries (Russian River!!), you don't want to go bar hopping. We generally had our entire day planned out and when we got back we just relaxed and got ready for the next day.

Just watched it on Netflix streaming. Really enjoyed it, thanks for the tip.

Need to do a little research about the brown wine that miraculously turned back while in the bottle though.

From what I understand any and everything in the film involving Gustavo is 100% fiction.
